Join KPMG’s London Region Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team and play a key role in supporting a diverse portfolio of UK and international businesses with their corporation tax obligations and strategic tax matters. This position offers exposure to a broad range of advisory projects, including business change, reorganisations, financing activities and emerging tax developments. Working closely with senior colleagues, clients and international teams, you will help deliver high-quality advice while supporting compliance and client relationship management. About the role 

This role sits within KPMG Tax & Legal, a practice that helps businesses navigate complex tax and regulatory matters while supporting growth, transformation and compliance. Based in Canary Wharf, you will work with UK headquartered and inbound groups across a variety of sectors, providing both advisory and compliance support. The team works in a hybrid model, collaborating in the office or at client sites at least twice each week. 

 

Roles and responsibilities 

  • Manage day-to-day tax matters for a portfolio of clients and build trusted client relationships. 
  • Contribute to corporate tax advisory projects, providing technical input and practical recommendations. 
  • Research complex tax issues and coordinate input from specialist teams and international member firms. 
  • Help clients understand and respond to changes in UK and global tax legislation and policy. 
  • Deliver high-quality UK corporation tax compliance services and support timely submissions. 
  • Supervise, coach and review the work of junior team members to support their development. 
  • Support client account management, including quality, risk and financial management requirements. 
  • Assist with business development activities and contribute to the growth of the practice. 

 

Experience and skills needed 

  • Experience managing or supporting UK corporation tax matters for business clients. 
  • Ability to analyse complex information and provide clear, practical recommendations. 
  • Experience contributing to tax advisory projects and technical research. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues. 
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain high standards of delivery. 
  • Experience reviewing, supporting or coaching less experienced team members. 

 

Qualifications required 

  • CTA, ACA, CA or an equivalent professional qualification.
