KPMG Overview:
The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is looking for a Dynamics 365 F&O Solution Architect with extensive experience across all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365 F&O projects. With a hands-on approach and proven experience in end-to-end implementations, strong understanding of primary process and procedures combined with practical knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is a must as this role will entail continuous interaction with clients, managing onshore consultants, working alongside both onshore and offshore development teams.
Specifically, we want to extend and expand our on-going advisory services post implementation into our evolution service, chiefly responsible for the on-going improvement and stabilisation of the solutions and platform, the improvement through adoption of new features and technology and the on-going benefits realisation remediation the implementation delivered. Using your experience and expertise as a solution architect, you would assist building out the evolution service, and subsequently you would work with multiple customers to deliver the evolution agenda, providing continuous improvement and working across our wider team.
This role is therefore key to KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions’ customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions. It is a dynamic and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business area within an established and market-leading global Big 4 firm.

Using your experience and expertise as a solution architect, you would assist building out the evolution service, and subsequently you would work with multiple customers to deliver the evolution agenda, providing continuous improvement and working across our wider team. The solution architect experience would be paramount to ensure clients understand the proposition and delivery of the offering, and have a trusted person to reach out to for the execution of it.
Evolution Responsibilities:
- Work alongside and understand pre-sales, sales and delivery and overlay where we can propose additional, differentiating evolution type services to each stage of client engagement.
- Lead and own the creation and maintenance of the evolution service agenda, materials and delivery derived from such findings.
- Participate in the pre-sales and sales stages as well as during on-going delivery upsell to help close evolution engagements.
- Work closely with clients teams across functional, technical, BA and business capabilities to assess the pipeline of work for evolution and track progress.
- Work closely with our delivery team to assign the right colleagues to deliver the evolution pipeline successfully.
- Work closely with delivery leadership to own the contracts and execution of the engagements, reporting into our delivery capability.
- Keep ties with the D365 community within the organisation and participate in linking project delivery, managed services and evolution capabilities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience of large-scale ERP Managed Services projects.
- Extensive experience in consulting and excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to lead engagements and present to the C-Suite stakeholders.
- Must be able to show good knowledge of best practices for Dynamics 365.
- Broad understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Strong MS Office skills (primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio is a plus).
- Knowledge of Power Platform capabilities and Business Intelligence (BI) is preferred.
- Adept at Business Requirement Analysis with a focus on reducing development effort and simplifying delivery.
- Pre-sales experience.
- Business process mapping, modelling and documentation knowledge.
