Summary of Role

         

People Consulting is an integral part of KPMG’s Advisory practice and a growing part of our business.  This team help to transform the performance of organisations by changing the way people are led, managed and developed.  We do this by focusing on two key areas – delivering the people agenda on large scale, complex, change programmes and transforming the HR function by technology. 

 

We are seeking a highly accomplished Director to join our expanding People Centric Transformation practice, with a dedicated focus on supporting our Middle East business. This is a pivotal and high-profile role within the team, demanding a strategic balance between business development, sales origination, and exceptional client delivery.

 

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated history of success in leading complex people transformation initiatives. We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented individual who exhibits superior communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Description of the role:

         

The successful candidate will be expected to:

 

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality people transformation projects.
  • Provide people transformation adoption advice and work closely with client leads to optimize processes and maximize the benefits.
  • Advise clients on people transformations in relation to operating model, and relevant process execution.
  • Lead business development and sales initiatives, including bid, proposal, and contract/commercial negotiations with our Middle East clients.
  • Lead the growth of the PCT practice through sharing knowledge, developing thought leadership, and supporting the career aspirations of team members.

 

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

 

  • A proven track record of success in sales, leading and delivering people transformation projects.
  • Strong capability across people transformation – workforce, HR, change and learning
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in the Middle East is a plus

Leadership & Management:

  • Understanding of Middle East culture, adapting leadership approaches, and fostering effective cross-cultural collaboration
  • Assisting with goal development and coaching of team members to enable the growth within our practice, actively supporting the professional development of team members.

 

Stakeholder Interaction & challenges:

 

  • Liaise with stakeholders across the People practice, cross collaborating with other teams across Advisory, collaboration with KPMG firms in the Middle East, ensuring opportunities are shared and explored to maximise our offering to clients.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across the People practice, this could include HR professionals, talent management specialists, and other internal experts, ensuring alignment and effective information exchange.
  • Cross-collaborating with teams across Advisory sharing insights, resources, and expertise with teams.
  • Collaboration with KPMG member firms, specifically working closely with KPMG offices and teams located in the Middle East region. This collaboration would focus on leveraging global capabilities and local market knowledge to serve clients effectively across different geographies.

 

The Person:  Essential experience

 

Our candidates should have strong commercial acumen, strong desire to learn and

develop and be able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.

 

  • This role requires a proven track record of selling people transformation programmes.
  • Proven experience successfully delivering people transformation programs.
  • Experience in leading transformation projects, leading workstreams, and managing teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Experience producing project deliverables across at least 2 areas of HR, Change, Learning or Workforce
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with varying team members.
  • Travel required (up to 80%).
