About this team
KPMG's global Brand & Marketing team is dedicated to enhancing the firm's brand perception and driving impactful marketing strategies worldwide. The team works collaboratively to develop and execute cohesive marketing campaigns that align with KPMG's long-term strategy and business objectives.
As part of the global Brand & Marketing team, the Sector and Cross-Industry Channels Marketing team is dedicated to driving growth and enhancing brand positioning across various sectors and channels globally. They develop and execute strategic marketing plans, create high-quality content, and optimize event sponsorships to increase brand impact by collaborating closely with sector heads and their leadership teams.
Role summary
The Marketing Manager, Corporates will report to the Senior Marketing Manager, TMT & CRL and play a key role in delivering global sector marketing campaigns to enhance member firm adoption. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to execute content plans, support event sponsorships, manage campaign logistics, and maintain stakeholder relationships.
Key Accountabilities
Content Development and Management:
- Create, manage, and develop global content (such as hero, hub, and heartbeat pieces) for marketing campaigns that will be adopted by the network and support global events, ensuring the execution of marketing strategies and alignment with broader organizational goals
- Manage collaboration with brand, risk compliance, design planning, and digital teams to ensure timely delivery and publication of materials
- Oversee the development of client-facing marketing materials, including sales enablement materials, social media posts, infographics, videos, and other digital assets
Project Management:
- Manage day-to-day coordination between internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless collaboration and communication throughout all stages of project execution. This includes developing project timelines, tracking progress, and facilitating meetings to address any issues or roadblocks that arise
- Ensure that all projects adhere to established timings and budgets while meeting quality standards. Employ effective resource allocation and risk management strategies. Regularly report on project status to stakeholders and adjust plans as necessary to align with overall marketing strategy, objectives, and company goals
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Lead coordination across global teams, including internal stakeholders and marketing colleagues in Global and in Member Firms, to ensure alignment and local adoption of initiatives.
- Organize regular meetings and updates to discuss ongoing projects, address concerns, and gather feedback.
Internal Network Collaboration:
- Build connections across departments and member firms to enhance global marketing programs and promote knowledge sharing, ensuring best practices are shared across the global organization
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement global programs and develop industry- or function specific content or events
- Engage with country-based marketing professionals and key account teams to identify and leverage resources and programs in key countries (priority to Big 9 and rest of board countries), tailoring successful initiatives for wider adoptioned.
Evaluation and Measurement:
- Lead the tracking of campaign metrics and performance against KPIs, contributing to regular reporting on campaign outcomes and stakeholder updates
- Utilize data-driven insights to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and drive continuous improvement
Creative Input and Best Practices:
- Promote innovative and creative ideas that enhance the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns. This includes leveraging AI in a trusted and responsible way, facilitating brainstorming sessions, participation in workshops, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop compelling marketing materials that resonate with the target audience
- Lead the sharing of best practices across the organization through various channels (newsletters, regular team meetings, etc.).
Experience / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- Proven knowledge and skills in marketing, communications, or business practices, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry trends and strategies backed by demonstratable relevant experience
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in marketing campaign management and execution
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders
- Ability to analyze data and interpret metrics to drive marketing success
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
- Strong project management skills with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from diverse and often widespread stakeholders
- Experience interacting with senior management and exercising diplomacy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where speed to market is key to success
- A ‘can do’ attitude and an exceptional degree of personal initiative with an ability to manage multiple priorities in tight timelines
- Able to work flexible hours typical of a global role; connecting with colleagues in different time zones
