International Office of General Counsel
The International Office of the General Counsel (IOGC) is a growing and high-performing in-house legal team with personnel based in five countries. The team provides legal advice on a wide variety of key strategic matters and legal, regulatory and reputational issues and risks, and also supports the execution of critical business decisions made by KPMGI.
About this Team
The Legal Operations team enables the International Office of the General Counsel to operate efficiently, consistently and at scale. The team sits within the Corporate and Communication subteam and supports the day‑to‑day running of IOGC by streamlining processes, driving digitisation, coordinating recruitment and onboarding, managing finance and procurement activities, and organising key internal events and communications. By providing strong operational foundations, Legal Operations allows IOGC lawyers to focus on delivering high‑quality legal advice on KPMG’s most strategic and complex matters.

- Act as the primary contact for routine finance and invoice queries from suppliers and IOGC colleagues. Support the streamlined engagement of external counsel and ensure that they follow invoicing protocols and respond to queries.
- Manage the end-to-end coordination of IOGC’s recruitment activity and oversee the onboarding program for new hires.
- Oversee logistics for IOGC conferences, steering group meetings, in-person leadership and team meetings, including agenda preparation and coordination with speakers.
- Work with our global procurement team when IOGC is procuring software or services and monitor those requisitions on behalf of IOGC so we can ensure timely approvals and compliance with internal policies.
- Prepare draft communications to the IOGC team.
