A Manager in our Technology and Data SAP capability will significantly contribute to expanding the SAP Supply Chain Practice, with a primary focus on the Source-to-Pay (S2P) cycle. This individual will lead a team of functional consultants to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end solutions that streamline procurement and purchasing processes, aligned with global business objectives within SAP S/4HANA (Public Cloud and on-prem/private cloud). The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate diverse requirements into robust, compliant SAP solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other modules and adherence to SAP best practices. The SAP S2P Manager will champion the adoption of S/4HANA capabilities, minimize customizations, and ensure alignment with industry and SAP procurement best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead fit-to-standard workshops and translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP S2P functional designs.
  • Oversee configuration and maintenance of core S2P sub-modules, including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, and Supplier Management.
  • Manage critical areas such as direct and indirect procurement, contract management, self-service procurement, and integration with external systems like SAP Ariba.
  • Coordinate seamless integration between SAP S2P (MM) and other modules such as FI, CO, SD, and PP to ensure data consistency and process flow across the enterprise.
  • Drive process improvements by leveraging SAP Best Practices and SAP’s latest S/4HANA innovations (e.g., SAP BTP, AI/ML tools for procurement, process mining).
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership, communicating complex solution designs and their impact on operational efficiency and cost savings.
  • Ensure solution integrity across the project lifecycle, from design to go-live, maintaining consistency and cross-functional alignment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional, technical, data migration, integration, change management) to ensure cohesive solution delivery and business alignment.
  • Expand the S2P practice within SAP Supply Chain capability by actively contributing to pre-sales pursuits, team building, and asset development activities.


Required Skills & Experience:
Functional & Subject Matter Expertise Skills:

  • Deep functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Source-to-Pay processes, covering sub-areas such as Procurement, Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, and Supplier Relationship Management.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing integrated end-to-end S2P processes.
  • Strong understanding of procurement business processes and SAP S/4HANA capabilities, innovations, and best practices for both public and private cloud deployments.
  • Good understanding of key master data elements, including materials, vendors, purchasing info records, and source lists, and their functional usage in driving S2P processes in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Expertise in SAP Activate Methodology and leading fit-to-standard workshops to drive adoption of standard SAP processes.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10-12 years of SAP ERP experience, with at least 5 years as an SAP Source-to-Pay (MM/Procurement) Lead/Subject Matter Expert.
  • Experience of working in different roles such as Subject Matter Expert, Advisory, Functional Solutioning, Pre-sales, etc.
  • Completed at least 2-3 full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations (greenfield or brownfield) across various deployment models (either On-premise, private cloud, or public cloud).
  • Proven track record in leading the design and delivery of complex business processes in Source-to-Pay leveraging S/4HANA solution capabilities, balancing design quality, project practicality, and business outcomes.
  • Experience in leading customer workshops, defining functional business requirements, and creating detailed functional specifications and process design documents.
  • Ability to translate technical details into business language and value-driven solutions.
  • Experience in guiding, mentoring, and overseeing delivery teams (onshore and offshore) to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
  • Well versed with SAP tools for process management, test management, release management, etc.


Desirable Attributes:

  • Having a good understanding of public cloud methodology and key public cloud innovations in Source-to-Pay.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba integration and functionalities (e.g., Ariba Network, Sourcing, Procurement, Supplier Management).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and client relationship skills, with the ability to simplify complex functional and technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities, with a keen attention to detail in solution design.
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker, and driven to achieve success within a customer-centric environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide mentorship to junior team members.
  • Comfortable delivering presentations and workshops to clients' senior stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional, technical, data migration, integration, change management) to ensure cohesive solution delivery and business alignment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and staying abreast with the latest SAP S/4HANA and industry trends in procurement and supply chain.
