Role

We are looking for a Global Mobility Services (GMS) Senior Manager to work in our International Social Security Team, which sits within our People Taxes team.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage the day to day global co-ordination and/or UK service delivery of client engagements (dependent on the client portfolio), supported by our wider team.
  • Manage UK social security compliance across the client portfolio, including Certificates of Coverage, Modified National Insurance returns etc.
  • Deliver high quality social security advisory services to clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical awareness across International Social Security and Posted Worker Directive, keeping abreast of changes in legislation and guidance, and provide insights and updates to clients on potential impacts.
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials, including articles, whitepapers and presentations.
  • Drive forward business development activities.
  • Closely collaborate with subject matter experts in other areas of the UK GMS team, as well as Reward, Immigration and the network of KPMG Member Firms to deliver on cross-border and multidisciplinary projects.
  • Develop, maintain and lead strong client relationships.
  • Manage engagement finances.
  • Manage and coach junior staff.

Experience and Background

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience working in international social security in Big 4 or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of UK and international social security systems, regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and client relationships effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills are preferred.
  • Microsoft Power BI experience
