Tax Valuations Senior Manager

KPMG’s Tax Valuation Services (“TVS”) works with a broad spectrum of clients, from high net-worth individuals to large blue-chip corporates, in establishing the tax market value of shares, intangible assets and other business assets, using an array of valuation methodologies and techniques. Internally, the team works closely with KPMG’s Reward and Transfer Pricing teams, as well as providing support on M&A engagements. 

To support the ambitious growth plans of the TVS team, KPMG are seeking to recruit a Senior Manager to support a growing team and clients on valuation technical tax valuation matters. The candidate will support across KPMG’s client base and have significant development opportunities.

Responsibilities

·        Working closely with the Director and Partners to support on valuation engagements and technical positions adopted.

·        Support with negotiations on valuation with tax authorities.

·        Review valuation reports and letters.

·        Help develop technical expertise within the team and support the team on all technical matters.

·        Develop of robust framework to approach on valuation to minimise risk for the firm.

Experience and Background

Ideally, candidates should have:

·        Significant experience of UK tax valuations including knowledge and experience of HMRC approach and processes.

·        Track record of supporting teams on technical valuation matters.

·        Delivery of training programmes.

·        Understanding of wide range of businesses and appropriate valuation matter.

·        Strong commitment to quality and record of delivering projects.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
